The Stall

Well, Arch has been doing things here and there, but things are at a bit of a standstill right now, due to the ABA motor... the one we had dropped off at C & C Machine shop needs new pistons... and the second one we picked up from the junkyard needs new ones as well...just our luck. So, we are taking our time with this and looking to purchase new pistons, which may cost up to $700.

Took some time today to organize some parts from the MK2...

Door Cards

Found door cards from a wrecked Cabby (at the Junkyard): the backing material was warped and pretty much damaged, but solved that with a trip to home depot for some new backing board material. Ripped old stuff out and used it as a template to create a new door card. Got crafty by purchasing some foam from Joanns Fabrics, before deciding the new look was a bit "puffy" looking and not flat enough... so, Arch disassembled the current project and started from scratch with some new material found at Auto Zone: the result? Check out the pics... as you can see, a lot of hard work went into each part of putting these door cards back together. Quality and time make a huge difference. Hopefully these things will last for quite a while.
